« Rupture Rive Gauche x Lutetia Paris » opening

Shaking up cultural codes by creating hybrid places where all arts interconnect – this is the ambition of Alexandre Sap, founder of the international network of cultural places Rupture Arts & Books, which sets up within Lutetia Paris’ store gallery, for a collaboration named « Rupture Rive Gauche x Lutetia ».

A multifaceted entrepreneur and music lover, Alexandre Sap started his career as a sound engineer before launching his first recording studio, a label and a publicity agency. Today, he is creating various fashionable spaces where different fields – literature, music, art, gastronomy – combine without distinction.

After the launch of cultural spaces in Venise and Marseille – in Le Corbusier’s Cité radieuse – the resumption of the mythical Librairie des Colonnes in Tanger, and only 7 years after the creation of the record shop and bookshop owners of rue du Vertbois, Alexandre Sap arrives at Lutetia Paris and states : « With Rupture Rive Gauche, I bring to Paris all kinds of cultural objects that are dear to my heart and give to Rupture its Mediterranean identity ».

According to Jean-Pierre Trevisan, General Manager of Lutetia Paris, « We are proud to welcome Rupture Rive Gauche at Lutetia Paris that has always been a place of meeting and an open window on its time. At the angle of Boulevard Raspail and Rue de Sèvres, under the emblematic frontage of Lutetia Paris, this « cabinet of curiosities » will undoubtedly be one of the new in vogue adress of Saint-Germain-des-Prés. »
